You are using an ISP to connect to the internet and you will have to use their mail server to send your mail and ours to receive it.

If we set our servers up to receive mail from where ever you are then we would be setting them up so that anyone (including spammers) could send mail through us to other servers. This is known as an "open mail relay" and is commonly used by spammers to send their e-mail!
