How can I stop getting spam? Print

If anyone new the answer to this they would be very very rich :-)

However there are a few things you can do to reduce the amount...

  • Don't publish your e-mail address anywhere on your website and if you really have to, don't publish it as a mailto: link. There are web spiders crawling the web 24/7 harvesting e-mail addresses from websites such as yours.
  • Don't publish your e-mail address on anyone elses website (by signing a guestbook etc.) for exactly the same reason.
  • Use a mail client with a good spam filter built in. Personally we would recommend Mozilla

We are constantly investigated the use of server wide spam filtering however at the moment using current technology the risk of deleting your legitimate mail is too high!
