Why do I only get one database? Print

Two reasons really:

  1. We don't think you need more than one.
  2. It makes things a lot easier for us to admin (at least we're honest).

If you have a real reason for requiring more than one database then please contact us and we will happily discuss your requirements.

However! One database does not mean that only one application can use it. As many applications / scripts can use the database as you like and nearly all applications now put a unique string on all their table names (all tables for the Mambo CMS start "mos_") which allows you to identify them and stop tables from clashing.
