How should I upload files (ascii or binary)? |

You can upload files via FTP in two modes ascii and binary. Generally speaking if you can open the file in a text editor then you should upload the file in ascii mode.
Examples of ascii files:
- html files
- perl scripts
- php scripts
- helix ram files
Examples of binary files:
- All image files
- zip files
- sound files
- movie files
